Community Energy Transformers Event

The Centre for New Energy Technologies, with generous support from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources has been conducting a multi-year study on the feasibility of microgrids in regional and rural areas – and we’ve learned a lot about what it takes to inform a community energy project.

As part of this grant, we are sharing these lessons learned with a broader audience, bringing together industry, government and community groups to have a deep stakeholder engagement on the current and future energy needs of regional communities. Presentation materials and tools include:
